During Children's book week , the kids at Romerschool fell in love with Lala. :)
A dream I had 3 years ago of making a mural the Yoga Tree in Chiang Mai came true. I was So happy to fill my home away from home with color and playfulness.
I spend as much time as I can practicing Yoga and DANCEmandala at The Yoga Tree so I was thrilled when I was asked to leave a part of me there.
The symbol/ logo of The Yoga Tree is a clover so I wanted to create a mandala made out of clovers dancing around the Om centre dissolving into hearts.
The Garden Cafe is now filled with lots of sparkles, joy and color. A green oasis for the yoga/ dance commUNITY to celebrate life while sipping on kombucha's and nibbling on some vegan cakes.
As I was reading the book Women who run with the wolves and living alone in nature, I got inspired to paint my first skull. In one of the stories Baba Yaga ( the witch) sends Vasilisa home with a skull lantern after completing a series of tasks Unafraid now of the forest and emboldened with the lessons she has learned, Vasilisa returns home with her fire, the fire of wisdom and power.
Exploring the 1,666 meter long spirit cave in Mae Hong Son on a bamboo raft. Benefits of being here during the rainy season is having a private guide and no other tourists around.
Exploring Glacier valley on a house on wheels.
I knew I had to go to Serra da Estrella for some reason. I just didn't know exactly why. As I was waiting for some clarification a friend I met along the way told me about a special place in the mountains of the star, Seixo Branco, that was made out of the most beautiful white and rose quartz. I knew this was the place I was meant to go.
I bought a tent and headed to the mountains the next day.
In Serra da Estrella none of the locals I asked knew where this place was.
Finally someone was able to locate an old man who knew where Seixo Branco was. He came back with the answer that it was very close to the spot I was camping the week before. " But there is nothing there" he said. " just a bunch of stones."
